March Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone!  Welcome to our challenge blog!  If you're new here, we hope you'll join in the fun and creativity.  If you're a returning participant, we're glad you're back!

Are you ready for another month of challenges?  Patricia is our hostess for the month of March, and this week we're starting things off with a sketch challenge:

This looks like a fun one, doesn't it?  You're welcome to rotate or flip the sketch, or even change it from a rectangle to a square, so long as we can still easily see the design elements in your card.

We have a surprise this month - a Guest Design Team member!
Please help us welcome Scraplady!
Here's her take on our sketch:

And here is what the Design Team has created with it:

Now it's your turn!  We'd love to see what you can do with this sketch!  Remember that you have until 6:00 pm GMT/1:00 pm Eastern time Friday, March 7 to link your card.

Please make sure to follow these rules when you play along with us here at 52CCT! :)

*Please read the challenge requirements carefully before creating your card. We will never delete any submissions that do not follow our challenge rules; however, only cards that meet the requirements will be considered by the Design Team for our weekly Top Honors and Honorable Mention voting.

*We are a Christmas card challenge.  Please only post Christmas related cards or projects.

*Please link back to our blog in your post so that others can join in the fun.

*We would love it if you added our button to the side of your blog.

*Please make sure to link to your POST, not your blog.

*Please make sure NOT to back link.  Your card should not be older than this post.

*In order to be considered for Top Honor or Honorable Mention, you must link up by Friday at 6:00pm GMT.

*You are free to combine this challenge with up to 10 other challenges.

*We'd really appreciate it if you'd turn off word verification so that we can comment more easily! We know a lot of you do this for safety, but it takes a very long time to comment when verification is activated, and you might not receive comments from us...just sayin'. ;)
